Booking policy

Our maximum booking size ONLINE is for 6 people.

We are a small rural business and late cancellations impact us. We encourage you to read through our terms and conditions and offerings prior to booking so you know what to expect.

No shows, late cancellations (within 24hr of arrival times) or booking changes will be charged a cancellation fee of $50pp. Please be mindful of this when planning your dining experience with us. Credit card details are now required at the time of booking but nothing is charged unless the no show/ late cancellation occurs.

An automated booking reminder is sent by email/sms (72 hr ahead), as your opportunity to change bookings and avoid this fee. You can cancel and change bookings anytime using the link on your confirmation email or contacting

Our bookings run by the hour and we usually like to take food orders 15 minutes into your booking time. So while we are happy to have you in for a drink prior to your booking, please understand we cannot offer your food prior to this. This means we prefer you arrive 15 minutes within your booking time (maximum). If you are running late, please email or SMS 0472 654 528 (do not ring, we cannot answer in busy periods) to let us know and we will try to accommodate your booking where possible.

All reservations for parties of 1-6 are for a dining time of 2 hours. We have a cosy sofa area if you want to hang around a little longer.

Dietaries & moderations
We are unable to adjust to every dietary requirement. We want all our customers to have a great experience however with our small team and commitment to reducing food waste and regional location we do not have a fully inclusive menu on hand at all times.

You must advise us upon making your booking if you or any of your guests have any allergies or other dietary requirements to avoid disappointment. This is especially important on the set menu for groups. We politely ask you to contact your co-dining companions if you are not sure.

We can not cater to vegan, dairy-free or FODMAP diets. Additionally, we can not remove garlic or onion from our dishes.

Dietaries that have not have not been notified in the booking CAN NOT BE CATERED TO.

We do not offer a separate children's menu.

Outdoor dining
Due to the unpredictable nature of Tasmania’s weather and the small size of our dining room, there will be occasions when it is simply not feasible for us to proceed with serving tables outdoors or guaranteeing window seats. You are welcome to request an outdoor table in your notes, but we cannot guarantee any table on the day.

Public Holidays and Surcharges
Some menu prices may be adjusted for special events, pop-ups, and public holiday days
• 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and public holidays.
• A discretionary 10% service charge is applied to all groups (tables of 6+) as a gratuity/tips paid directly to our staff
• We accept Visa and Mastercard, and a 2.5% credit card merchant fee surcharge applies.
